get your thinking cap on

A little philosophy, logic, and science - ahh Saturday.

I came across a quote from Alfred North Whitehead
(1861-1947) and thought it was pretty cool and wanted to know more
about Mr. Whitehead so I did some digging. Okay, so I get cerebral like
that sometimes.

Whitehead,
an Englishman, was a mathematician and philosopher. He graduated
Trinity College, Cambridge back in 1884. He remained at Trinity as a
lecturer in mathematics until 1911.

YOU STILL WITH ME?

At
the University of London, Whitehead became a lecturer in applied
mathematics and mechanics, and professor of progressive mathematics. The du
de had a thing for MATH! From 1924 onward, he was professor of
philosophy at Harvard.
